saved by grace through faith, not works.

Rom:10-9

If you confess… and believe… you will be saved

Rom 10:13

Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be save

why would Paul give instructions on how to be saved with NO mention of baptism if it’s a requirement?

membership is not about the body-sign, but about faith and calling.

“Circumcision is a matter of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the letter.”

Rom 2:28–29

Abraham was counted righteous in Gen 15

Abraham was circumcised later in gen 17

Abraham was counted righteous before circumcision. circumcision was for show, not the cause. (Rom 4:9–12)

Something about Paul’s instructions when he was sent to

In the same section 1 Corinthians - people were claiming that the higher status someone who baptised them meant the higher their - doesnt really fit with the point tho

Paul here is going around and telling these people that baptism and who baptise them isn’t what they should be focusing on and that the core root of it all is the gospel message. he’s not saying baptism isn’t important, but he’s saying it’s not the foundation for your faith.
